A couple of good NSVs, apart from the dress and cardi fitting so well. Today I am wearing an orange and white striped granddad top which I bought in Sainsbury's about two and a half to three years ago, and has never fitted me before.
Earlier on, I tried on a pair of size 22 black cargo trousers that are a really small 22 and never really fitted me. I can get into them and fasten them up! However, they are still tight across my bum and at the top of my thighs, so the side pockets at hip level bulge outwards. I can't yet wear them, in other words.
I've been jumping on the scales every morning, hoping to see the numbers going back down. No joy, I still seem to be around 17 stone 8 and a bit. I'm getting a bit cheesed off now, it's been like that since the middle of last week and I want to see the scales dropping, dang it!
I haven't cheated. I haven't ever gone over my points for the week. I've never eaten all my bonus points. I am getting a little bit more exercise, but today I didn't do anything. I walked and ran on the treadmill yesterday, and today my hip is sore. I'll see how it is tomorrow and if it still hurts I will delay the next walk/run session for another day.
Today was the first day of cutting right back on the Coke Zero. I am about to open my third and final can. Had two mugs of coffee and lots of water with Crystal Light sugar free drink mix added in - about 4 litres all told, I think.
I know I really ought not to keep on weighing myself as it is only getting me down. I will try not to do it again until Saturday morning and hope to see a loss. Even going back down to 17 stone 7 and three quarters would be nice, that's only the half pound I gained this week! It's just so dispiriting when you have a four and a quarter pound loss one week to follow it up with a half a pound gain when you KNOW you haven't done anything at all to deserve it!
I need to start revising for my exam, too. I hate revising, but I am going to try to do four hours a day. That's only two hours in the morning then another two hours in the afternoon. I can manage that, I'm sure! We have three revision classes, there's a DVD of mock exam exercises in one of our books and tomorrow night we will receive photocopies of a book's worth of revision material. Hopefully I can get to grips with the areas of grammar that still trip me up, build my vocabulary a bit more and learn all those nasty little words like doch, ob, and so on that are so often presented to us in the grammar building exercises that I tend to do so badly on!
