Well, yesterday's SP reckoned I was 17 stone 6 and a quarter pounds, which would be a two pound loss!

Today's weigh in, however, showed 17 stone 8 pounds on the button, which means a quarter pound loss. A measly quarter pound! Mind you, at least it's a step in the right direction. I really don't know what to do to speed the weight loss up again; I haven't cheated, I point and track religiously and don't eat every single one of my bonus or activity points. I haven't drunk more than three cans of Coke Zero a day all week. Drunk two litres of water a day at least.

So, I suppose I'm just going to have to accept that things have slowed right down for a little while. I've been here before, this time around. I know it will start to drop again soon, in rather larger increments than a quarter pound at a time! And better a small loss than a STS or a gain.

I do wonder if getting a little bit more exercise might not have affected things, but I can't really see three half-hour running and walking sessions might have much of an impact. I think it's more likely that I keep hanging on to some fluid - my engagement ring was really loose yesterday, this morning my fingers were really swollen. Gone down a fair bit now, though.

I will try to avoid SPing this week, and hope for a pleasant surprise next Saturday!

Only twelve points left for today, as I had two cheddar cheese and onion rolls for lunch/breakfast. I needed some proper cheese! Fed up of American cheese or Gouda or Edam, which is mostly all I can find locally. I think dinner may well be my version of spaghetti carbonara with a mixed salad.

100 g bacon pieces
one onion
garlic
oregano
basil
a few chilli pepper flakes
one egg
dash of low-fat cream (optional)
60 g WW reduced fat cheese or parmesan
200 or 250 g of spaghetti, depending on how many points you want the pasta to be

Put spaghetti in boiling water. While cooking, sweat the bacon in a frying pan and cook off the onion in the grease. Add seasonings. Stir bacon and onion mixture into the drained cooked pasta, stir through the cheese and mix in the egg. Serve with a mixed green salad.
