Evening Ramblings

The revision class was actually okay...I still have weaknesses where I thought I had weaknesses, but I think I have found a way to get round them. Need to work on my grammar a bit as I am terrible for sticking verbs in the wrong places still, and I need to get the hang of word endings. I get some of them right, but not all of them all of the time.

I rattle through writing a letter, and the teacher reckons I should get at least a B (I got an A+ last time, though!) if I can just get the hang of the grammatical structure a bit better. Gawd, I can't even write in English after three hours of chuffing German!

Half-watching Fringe, but to be honest it is just getting too weird for me this season.

I feel all jazzed up tonight, not sure what that's all about! Like I'm full of adrenaline and need to be up and doing something, but I don't know what. Very strange feeling.

Weight wise, I'm hoping for a loss this week. I'm not doing all that much exercise as yet, but more than I have been doing. Hopefully I can make it a regular part of my life rather than something I do sporadically. The OH was amazed I'd started running and wondered what had brought it on. I told him I used to run six times a week and he said that was the first time I'd ever mentioned it! I'm sure it isn't and he's just forgotten. It was nine years ago, so long before we met or even knew each other.

I had a SP after my run, as I'd already said, and I was coming in at a pound lighter than I was when I SPd earlier in the day. I have no idea what this means for Saturday, but I would dearly love to get to 17 and a half stone this weekend. It's a pound and a quarter to lose. Really I'd like to get my fifty pounds lost, which would be 17 stone 6, but that might well be a bit too much of an ask! I dunno, though, after losing four and a quarter, then gaining half a pound, a two and a quarter pound loss might be achievable.

Just been researching the web site I am ordering the Big White Frock from. They do get mostly good reviews, so I am hoping for the best. I think I ought to look at ordering it in a couple of weeks, no later, so by the beginning of November. I have no idea how much weight or how many inches I am likely to lose once I am actually running for thirty minutes three or four times a week as I will be in nine weeks' time. Last time around I dropped pounds and inches quite quickly and still have a couple of pairs of size 18 jeans from those days! I didn't stay a size 18 for long, though. I kept up the running for about two and a half to three months and went from a 20/22 to an 18. I'm about that size now, so it could be that by the end of January I am squeezing myself into an 18! I don't really know, though, to be honest I'll just be glad to be even a stone lighter by then on current progress.
