Thank goodness for that. The Gain Fairy has been well and truly kicked into touch. Jonny Wilkinson has nothing on me! (I prefer Gavin Hastings myself, now there was a kicker of the ball. Except for that one occasion at Murrayfield - not the day to be on the Red Terracing directly behind the uprights.)
So, eight and a half months to shift the first half. Weekly average overall of 1.8 pounds a week, although the last few weeks it's dropped to 0.7 pounds, largely due to that blooming plateau and last week's stupid gain. That's gone now, and another pound for good measure.
I set the Wii Fit up yesterday, so I am going to try to use that five days a week and burn a thousand calories a week on that. Not too many, really, but if I set too high a target I may not meet it. This way I can likely meet and exceed it without de-motivating myself!
Couple of long walks a week in there, too, and that should hopefully help matters along also.
I am still enjoying the journey!
This week I've finished with ten weekly points left and didn't touch the six activity points I earned. I used a few more of the weeklies than I intended, but as I insist they should all be eaten, what can I say? I really wanted to get rid of last week's gain, and it worked. I will eat a few more this week, most likely, and rely on the activity points to mop up any stray points I may have forgotten to track.
I'm just happy to be here at the halfway stage, and hoping that I can make it the rest of the way!
